Digital Product Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales made on Empower Planners are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on any digital purchases, as our products are instantly accessible and downloadable upon payment. Once a digital product has been purchased, it cannot be returned, and no refund will be provided. 

This policy complies with the regulations governing the sale of digital products. Because digital goods can be easily duplicated or shared, offering refunds after access is not feasible.

No refunds due to user error, changes in third-party note-taking applications, device incompatibility or lack of technological knowledge 

Due to the nature of digital products, most notably the immediate and irrevocable access to the goods sold immediately upon purchase no refunds will be issued to a person or party who or that does not succeed in using the products that Empower Planner sells due to user error, device incompatibility or lack of technological knowledge necessary to operate a digital planner application / PDF in the intended way in third party note-taking applications.

Empower Planners guarantees full integrity of the PDF Planner files it offers for sale. The Complete All-Inclusive Empower Planner and other Empower Planners products are usually compatible with a wide variety of note-taking applications and PDF-Viewer, annotation and redaction software and applications. We guarantee by regular testing that our products are designed to work flawlessly in note-taking applications of our choice and recommendation. Empower Planners however cannot guarantee that the Complete All-Inclusive Empower Planner works in any specific note-taking application at any specific given time as the Empower Planners has no control over third-party note-taking applications nor over any changes made to such applications over time by the app developers. Empower Planners therefore reserves the right to change its recommendations of compatible note-taking applications according to regular tests and data. Current recommendations are issued together with the Empower Planner purchase.

Empower Planners does not assume any responsibility for user-error, nor does it provide extended in-depth support in case of obvious user-error.

Empower Planners reserves the right to bill in-depth support as a separate billable item according to the severity of an extended support case in which obvious user-error, lack of technological knowledge or device incompatibility due to the user’s device’s age or technological limitations is the cause of the problem reported by the user. This policy serves to protect the resources of Empower Planners and aims to ensure customers act responsibly when purchasing our products. 

All Empower Planners products are tested and work in their intended use-case as illustrated on our website. In the unlikely event that you do find an error with our services or products we encourage you to contact us directly. We hope you understand that we, as a small company can not assume responsibility for or offer in-depth support in the case of user-error, lack of technological knowledge or device incompatibility due to the user’s device’s age or technological limitations.

We encourage our customers to ascertain that they possess necessary technological knowledge, a suitable device, as well as the ability to study the instructions provided with our products prior to making a purchase with Empower Planners. 99% of our opened support cases have shown that the user-reported problem was related to user-error and could be more efficiently solved with the in-person help of a tech-savvy friend or family member in the customer‘s close reach versus via email support.

  1. Instant Access: Once a purchase is completed, you gain immediate access to the digital files. These files cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense.
  2. Intellectual Property: Digital products are considered intellectual property. Once downloaded, the product cannot be retracted, ensuring the protection of our content.
  3. Respecting our customer service employees: We understand that sometimes you might have trouble fully getting the grip of something you purchase. It happens to all of us and digital planners especially on a smartphone or on a PC with some of the PDF software being intended not primarily for reading and note taking but for editing PDFs can be a bit finicky. It's in their nature. That said our customer service representatives cannot help with general user-error requests because then they would have to work around the clock with no breaks. Therefore we kindly ask you to make sure that you solve tech-problems with specific PDF or note-taking software or apps primarily yourself. The Empower Planner and our other products themselves work flawlessly and we test them regularly to ensure that they do.
